1. Overview of EPFL, Switzerland.

École Polytechnique Fédéraale de Lausanne (EPFL) is a leading science and technology company located in Lausanne, Switzerland. It is one of Europe’s most international and multinational technology universities. Here, students, professors and researchers from more than 120 countries work. The three main goals of EPFL are education, research and innovation.

EPFL offers education from graduate to doctoral stage and currently has over 15,000 students. The university’s academic structure has 5 schools and 1 college. These institutions are conducted in education and research on various topics such as architecture, civil and environmental engineering, computer and communication science, basic science, engineering, biology and technology management.

Research is an important part of the academic environment of EPFL. Over 500 laboratories and research teams of the university are working in a variety of fields of science, engineering, technology and interdisciplinary. At the same time EPFL encourages entrepreneur development, transfer of technology and build new startups.
